“Base Terminal” batteries are designed keeping the typical Indian rugged conditions in view and the batteries are manufactured, besides in its own manufacturing facility in India, under contract arrangement with overseas suppliers in China, Korea and Thailand and all batteries manufactured overseas are being brought to India after stringent quality control by its technical team. Besides, right from inspecting the inputs, the technical team supervises the manufacturing process of the overseas suppliers to ensure that the products brought to India meet stringent technical norms and specification.

Strongly motivated for an aggressive future, the Company decided and initiated backward integration and set up a state of art integrated manufacturing facility for manufacture of Lead-Acid Storage Batteries, conventional, tubular and VRLA, at Solan, Himachal Pradesh, located at approx. 300 kms from New Delhi. The plant is being built in a plot area of 100,000 sq. mts., with a built up area of 20,000 sq. mts. The facility will have latest and state of art equipments imported from USA, Taiwan, and China. The plant would have an annual capacity to produce 28.4 lakh units..
